Inventory control

Perhaps not the best idea to be doing an inventory control on one of the hottest weather recorded in England. The library is on the top floor, below the roof, which makes the temperature even higher. So 30+ it is... (best not to know exactly)

Finished scanning the DVD collection yesterday. I need to fish out the DVDs not properly done. Just a few that do not have any records. Having done the inventory control last year certainly made a difference!

I am attacking the reference collection today. Just apologised to the one and only reader I have today who choose to be just behind that shelve. There are a lot of self-study confined spaces here and she can move to one of them.

I should correct my DVD errors now but I want to make the most of today scanning books. As it's the first time I'm doing this section, it's bound to be full of mistakes and I'm sure even to find a lot of uncatalogued books!

And of course, there's a problem of space in this library so a lot of reference books are also on the tables, in the Tutor's rooms and some of them I've made lending as they were placed at the end of the textbooks section (books here are in two parts: reference and textbooks)
